Kajetan Hetzer

As sanitation advisor at WASTE, I have over 20 years of experience with sanitation, waste management, water (resource) management, water-food-energy nexus and sustainable investments across different sectors. After finishing my Geology study in Berlin and Environmental Sciences master in Amsterdam, I gained experience in the financial services sector and as consultant. In addition to working for and with multiple NGOs across my career, I have worked for various international agencies, among which the World Economic Forum, the International Finance Corporation and the Finance Initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme.
Next, to working for WASTE, I am also adviser for numerous think tanks and take seat at several advisory boards, including the business platform of CEWAS – the International Centre for Water Management Services in Switzerland. Also, I am chairman of “A Goood Foundation” that aims for design principles on the basis of closing loops – principles of the Circular and Blue Economy.
