Announcing: WASTE joins Toilet Board Coalition’s 2020 Cohort

We are happy to share that WASTE has become a new partnership council member of the Toilet Board Coalition!

Initiated in 2014 and formalised in 2015 as a business-led partnership and platform, the TBC has the ambition to address the global sanitation crisis by accelerating the Sanitation Economy. The TBC is enabling private sector engagement; connecting large and small companies; and ensuring close collaboration between private, public and non-profit sectors with the common goal to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG6), universal access to sanitation.

The members of the Toilet Board Coalition believe that accelerating the Sanitation Economy will deliver significant impact to business and society.

WASTE’s work aligns greatly with the TBC’s sanitation economy and circular economy initiatives. With our Diamond model approach, some of our programmes (like Securing Water for Food and FINISH Mondial) are working to support resource recovery and reuse of faecal sludge businesses in targeted countries, including India where our first FINISH programme is still going strong (since 2009).

We look forward to collaborating for increased scale and impact with TBC’s largest cohort yet.
