Technology developments and insights can reduce costs, increase access, acceptability, and uptake of sanitation & waste management.

Sanitation and waste management are public goods with private properties. Technologies and designs must focus on user experience and needs, ensuring waste is safely managed, treated & disposed. Capacities of the local, private sector must be strengthened to realise this.
